Reverse Boggle – Friday Weekly Challenge

Reverse Boggle flips the classic word search on its head. Instead of freely finding any word on the board, you're given 8 specific target words and must hunt them down one by one. Each target word is guaranteed to exist on the 4×4 grid — the challenge is finding their exact paths through adjacent letters.

The scoring system rewards ambition. Target words score 3×, 4×, 5×, or even 6× their standard Boggle value depending on word length. Find all 8 targets for a massive +25 completion bonus. Speed matters too — spotting your first target within one minute earns an extra +10 points.

Unlike other Boggle variants, Reverse Boggle requires you to swipe letters on the board — there's no typing box. Click a letter, drag across adjacent cells to spell your word, then release to submit.

Reverse Boggle Strategy Tips

• Study the target list first — before you start swiping, scan all 8 words. Look for shared prefixes or letter patterns.
• Prioritize longer targets early — a single 7-letter target can score 25+ points. Finding one early also builds momentum.
• Trace paths mentally before swiping — the board shows all letters, plan your route visually.
• Don't ignore short words — 3–4 letter regular words still earn 1 point each while you hunt targets.
• After the game, review missed targets — tap any unfound word to see its path highlighted on the board.
