How to Play Boggle
🖱 Drag to Spell
Click and drag (or swipe on mobile) across adjacent dice to trace a word. The path highlights as you go. Release to submit — no typing needed.
⌨️ Type to Spell
On desktop you can also type a word in the input box and press Enter or Submit. The board highlights matching letter paths as you type.
🧩 Adjacency
Each dice in a word must be directly adjacent (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) to the previous one. Each dice can only be used once per word.
📏 Word Rules
Words must be at least 3 letters long and appear in the dictionary. "Qu" on a single dice counts as two letters — useful for words like QUEEN or QUIET.
⏱ Timer
The countdown starts when you hit Start. When time runs out the game ends and your final score is shown. Longer words score disproportionately more points.

Boggle Strategy: How to Find More Words
1. Scan for Prefixes and Suffixes
Instead of reading letter-by-letter, train your eyes to spot common word-building patterns. Look for prefixes like RE-, PRE-, UN-, IN-, and suffixes like -ING, -ED, -ER, -EST scattered across the grid. Once you spot a prefix, scan adjacent tiles for letters that complete a word.
2. Start from the Vowels
Every English word contains at least one vowel. Scan the board for vowels (A, E, I, O, U) and mentally branch outward. A vowel surrounded by common consonants like T, R, S, N often yields multiple words — try reading in every direction from that starting point.
3. Think Plural and Verb Forms
Found the word "CAT"? Immediately check if you can add an "S" to make "CATS". Found "RUN"? Look for "NING" nearby to form "RUNNING". Word families multiply your score without starting a new search from scratch.
4. Use the Difficulty to Your Advantage
On Easy mode (vowel-rich, 5 min), prioritize volume — find as many 3–4 letter words as possible. On Extreme mode (rare consonants, 2 min), hunt for quality — a single 7-letter word (5 points) beats five 3-letter finds. On Hard mode (standard, 3 min), balance both volume and quality.
